Green Lantern the Animated Series is going to Spain!
Playfest is a music festival for animation and video games that is held annually in the beautiful city of Ubeda, Spain. I’m very excited to announce that our composer Freddie Wiedmann and I will be there on July 28, where a 15 minute set from Green Lantern the Animated Series will be performed by a 120 piece orchestra!!
There will also be a panel on July 27 where Freddie and I will discuss the process of scoring the show!
If that’s not enough, attendees can also buy copies of the soundtrack, so if you can’t wait ‘till it’s official release on August 21st, you can hop on a flight to Spain and beat the system!
If you’re in town sometime between July 23-29, then stop by and say hello!
So maybe about the best thing ever happened to this poor little fangirl today. I got to go to the DC Nation panel at Comic-Con!!!!
Now the panel itself wasn’t too focused on GLTAS (though we did get that awesome sneak-peek video from the upcoming episode!) and instead, most of the…
I assure you this was a highlight of the Con for me too! It makes such a difference to interact with appreciative fans, it really reminds us why we work so hard at what we do!
For the record, you were the first GLTAS cosplay I had seen, apparently “Elfgrove” came as “casual Aya” which is also really cool! Wish I could have seen her in person as well!
Thank you everyone for showing such support for the show, I really appreciate it a million times!
Please feel free to send me more stuff to add to the list! I’m sure I’ve missed things.
Swag and Merchandise to grab!
- Pick up the official GLTAS soundtrack at Lala Land Records (Booth 429)
- SDCC Exclusive Kilowog & Kyle Rayner ($25.00) at the Graphitti Designs booth (2315) these seem to…
I was going to type something up like this, but thanks to ..um, “greenlantern-tas” I don’t have to! Thanks a lot greenlantern-tas!
Probably the most important thing to do is attend the DC Nation panel and let the fine people on the stage know how much you love GLTAS and want to see more of it! There are going to be very powerful people in the room that have a lot of say whether we make more seasons or not.
I just found out that you can buy an advanced copy of the official Green Lantern The Animated Series soundtrack at the LaLa Land booth at San Diego Comic Con!
Please come by and show your support! Don’t forget to tell them how much you love the show. (Or hate it, if you’re a Red Lantern).
If you can’t make it to the con, you can always pre-order on Amazon using the link below:

It recently dawned on me that the motivation of the artist involved two crucial things:
1. To express oneself
2. To share said expression
That’s kinda it. You can over complicate it with all kinds of salaries, and job offers, job titles, Annie awards, Oscar ceremonies, and countless other labels that fool you into thinking your art is valid.
But at the end of the day, all I really want is to pour my emotion into my work, and to have somebody, somewhere go, ” I KNOW! ME TOO!”
I am incredibly grateful that I have nearly 600 followers on Tumblr. There are countless illustrators on this site that could draw and paint circles around me, but still, quite a number of you have clicked on my postings and thought, “I like this. And I want more.”
So thanks for that.
NOW 4 SUM FIARWERKSSZZ!!
