Dear Joncarlo:

I am sorry to inform you that the Review Committee of the School of Film/Video has not accepted your application for admission to the Character Animation program for the Fall 1994 semester.

Although we are unable to accept your application for admission at this time, the Review Committee has asked that you be made aware of their interest in your work, and their hope that you will consider reapplying, after an additional year of work.  We realize that this decision is probably a disappointment to you, but hope that you will keep in mind that we, as a faculty have your artistic and professional progress as our primary concern.

New admissions and financial aid applications are available each December.  We hope that you will choose to reapply.  If, in the meanwhile, you have questions regarding our program in Character Animation or CalArts in general, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
